About Our Practice

The Macleod Trail Surgical Center is a private surgical facility, fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This one of a kind surgical facility adheres the most stringent safety standards in the country and is equipped with state of the art technology and equipment to ensure the highest levels of safety for our patients. The surgical center is located within our main building and has a separate surgical waiting room, entrance and exit located at the rear of the building for your convenience and privacy.

About Macleod Trail Plastic Surgery

Dr. Paul Whidden is a board certified Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon through the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.

Education

Dr. Whidden received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1990 from the prestigious Queen’s University of Ontario. He then went onto receive his Medical Degree in 1995, graduating with Distinction from the University of Alberta where he subsequently completed his Plastic Surgery Residency training. Following residency, Dr. Whidden furthered his training and education at the University of British Columbia where he received advanced fellowship training in the areas of breast surgery, microvascular surgery and hand surgery in 2001.
