About Our Practice

We believe strongly that in order to provide the best results, one needs to be focused. We are focused on the face. Our practice has four pillars: rhinoplasty, facelift and aging face surgery, non-surgical facial rejuvenation, and hair restoration. As a Manhattan-trained Facial Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Alexander has devoted his entire career to the specialized treatment of the hair, nose and face, and to bringing the flair of New York City back home to Toronto.

A Message from Dr. Ashlin Alexander

To me, Facial Plastic Surgery and Hair Restoration Surgery are deeply personal, intensely delicate, technical and creative. This understanding is apparent in every aspect of my practice. The best advice I got when I started medical school was “treat every patient like he/she is your own mother”. This has become my motto.

Affiliations

Dr. Alexander is board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is also a member of both the Canadian and American Academies of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He assists in developing oral and written examinations for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Alexander is a staff surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital, The Scarborough Hospital, and Rouge Valley Health System. He is a Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (Dept. of Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery) at the University of Toronto.
